This past week I was sitting on my deck reflecting on what a nice home I have here in Somerset, and for the most part it is because of you two guys. Kathy and I had never built a new house before and were a little apprehensive about it at first. But, as you worked with us and helped select a lot and made several excellent suggestions for design changes to our floor plans to better fit our needs and desires and meet our budget, our confidence grew clear up until construction was completed. It was really a pleasure working with both of you, even fun. Also, I could always count on you meeting time and cost estimates throughout the construction. And perhaps most important, the final product was even better than we expected at the start. We love our home and continue to get complements on it and are often asked "who was your builder". We're proud to tell them Tri County Homes! If we ever build another house, I sure hope you two will do it for us.

Our experience building our home was a pleasure. We have built several other projects over the years, and fun would not be an adjective I would use to describe the process, but when you are building your dream home it should be, and with Tri-County Homes it was. Roger and Larry were there at every phase to make our ideas into reality while offering their expert advice to insure our home would be functional, practical, and aesthetically pleasing. Their staff and subcontractors were always polite, well mannered, and helpful to me and my entire family. After the deal is closed, most builders will never be seen again, but with Tri-County Homes it has been my experience that they will still be there for you even two years later. Because we deal with the building industry everyday, we knew Tri County had adequate manpower to build our house in a short time, but still generate quality work. Rodger and Larry used a very flexible floor plan, and still were able to create a home we love.

The home I visited was in the 5,000 square foot category and a full finished basement. There were virtually no square rooms. There were angles upon angles in every room, requiring great skill. The home was impressive to the extreme. Quality details could be seen in the home by not only all the angles, but how the home was finished.

Building our custom home with Rodger and Larry has been a pleasurable and genuinely positive experience. From the first meeting when the custom touches were discussed (cove moldings, tray ceilings, marble floors, tongue-in-groove walnut paneling, custom cabinetry) throughout the planning stages and execution of all details, Rodger and Larry guided us and completed whatever had to be accomplished in a stress free and organized manner.
Their workmanship can only be described as excellent. Creativity, knowledge and a willingness “to go the extra mile” characterize Rodger and Larry’s skills as premier custom home builders. Supported by a professional crew who also would accept nothing short of perfection, all assured us that quality craftsmanship was a reality.
Rodger and Larry would constantly keep us informed of the building progress, and since we lived near by, an almost daily “look-see” demonstrated the timely manner in which our project was moving forward. Whether lighting needs, flooring selections or custom cabinetry choices, Rodger and Larry always met with us and the service providers. They remained active participants at each level until we were satisfied with the product and cost. We soon discovered that Rodger’s and Larry’s goal was to maximize our satisfaction and minimize any building hassles. They did!
During our relationship with Rodger and Larry, we appreciated their down-to-earth attitude and “no surprises” approach to building. Our house is now finished and as we expected, it is done to perfection.
